A creative eye, shaped by experience

My photography journey started when I was about nine, after I “borrowed” my parents’ camera and became the family’s unofficial photo album creator.

Since then, I’ve always been drawn to capturing the moment and the story behind it, whether that’s the emotion of a wedding day, the personality of a brand, or the atmosphere of a beautifully designed space.

  • My early curiosity eventually led me to study Commercial Photography at Arts University Bournemouth, where I developed both the creative and technical foundations of my work.

    After graduating, I worked as a Creative Photographer at Pro:Direct Sport, creating imagery for global sports brands and learning the value of consistency, storytelling and visual impact.

    Alongside photography, I’ve also built a strong background in social media and marketing, and I now run my own marketing studio, Fluence Creative. This experience means that when I photograph businesses, I naturally think about how the imagery will work across websites, social media and marketing.

    Today, I work with wedding couples, creative businesses and beautifully designed spaces across Devon and the South West, creating photography that feels natural, thoughtful and timeless.

My Approach

Great photography isn’t just about the final image, it’s about the experience of creating it.

Many people feel a little nervous in front of the camera, whether it’s a couple on their wedding day or a business owner stepping into their brand story. My approach is calm and gently guided so everything feels relaxed and natural.

Rather than relying on stiff poses, I focus on real moments as they unfold, allowing people to feel comfortable and present.

The goal is always the same: an easy, thoughtful experience and imagery that feels natural, refined and meaningful.

A Little Beyond the Camera

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me enjoying the slower moments of everyday life.

I love spending time by the coast here in Devon, walking along the beach with my dog Bonnie and soaking up the calm that comes with being near the sea.

I’m also a big fan of anything creative, and often spend my evenings crocheting something new or working on small creative projects. There’s something really satisfying about making things by hand, and I think that appreciation for craft and detail naturally carries into my photography.

More than anything, I value time spent with the people I love, good food, good conversation and the simple moments that make life feel meaningful.

Those quieter, thoughtful moments are often the ones that inspire the way I approach photography too.
